Lahore, February 25, 2025 – In a significant development for interfaith engagement in Pakistan, Sohail Ahmad Raza, the Director of Interfaith Relations at Minhaj University Lahore (Minhaj-ul-Quran International), has been officially appointed as Secretary General of the Coalition of Faith-Based Organizations (CFBO) Asia – Pakistan Chapter.
The appointment was announced through a formal Power of Attorney issued by CFBO’s International Office, led by Prof. Dr. Elmar Kuhn (President) and Prof. Dr. Afsar Rathor (Vice President). The document was addressed to the Ministry of Interior, Government of Pakistan, marking the official recognition of CFBO’s Pakistan chapter.
Sohail Ahmad Raza is a distinguished voice in global interfaith dialogue and peacebuilding. For over two decades, he has been at the forefront of efforts to promote religious harmony, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence through the platform of Minhaj-ul-Quran International.
